As the name suggests, the paper is inspired by the decorative technique of painting fabrics of archaic Africa. Batik that comes from the Indonesian words amba (write) and titik (dot, drop) reinterprets this art thanks to the use of brushes and applied materials.

The light background is on material, worked with veils. The pattern is obtained by overlapping the molds to form a cyan blue geometric weave with a modern and sophisticated result. Each process was carried out by hand, on a support of paper and applied materials.
